Policies and Guidelines

At Ocean Olympia, we are committed to providing high-quality swimming lessons and ensuring a positive experience for all participants. Please review the following return and refund policies:
1. Cancellation Before the Start of Lessons
  • Full Refund: If you wish to cancel your enrollment before the start of the first lesson, you are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to the first scheduled session.
  • Cancellation Request: All refund requests must be submitted via email or phone and confirmed by our staff.
2. Cancellation After Lessons Have Started
  • Partial Refund: If you choose to cancel after lessons have started, a prorated refund will be issued based on the number of classes attended.
  • Non-Refundable Fees: The 50% deposit made during registration is non-refundable once lessons have begun, but the remaining balance may be refunded based on attendance.
3. Missed Classes and Make-Up Sessions
  • Make-Up Classes: Each participant is entitled to one make-up class per month. Make-up classes must be scheduled in advance and are subject to availability.
  • No Show Policy: If a participant misses a class without prior notice, the session is non-refundable and no make-up class will be provided.
4. Rescheduling Policy
  • Reschedule Requests: You may reschedule your lessons with at least 24 hours’ notice. This is subject to availability, and we will do our best to accommodate your new schedule.
  • Last-Minute Reschedules: Any requests for rescheduling made within 24 hours of the lesson may not be guaranteed and could result in the session being forfeited without refund.
5. Weather-Related Cancellations
  • Facility Closure: In the event that our facility closes due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances, we will offer make-up sessions at no extra charge or provide a refund for the missed class.
  • Participant Absence Due to Weather: If the facility remains open but a participant chooses not to attend due to weather concerns, the missed class will not be refunded, but a make-up session may be offered based on availability.
6. Medical Withdrawals
  • Medical Conditions: If a participant is unable to continue lessons due to a medical condition, a full or partial refund may be provided based on the number of remaining lessons. A doctor’s note may be required for verification.
  • Injury During Lessons: Should an injury occur during lessons, we will assess the situation and work with you to offer a refund or make-up sessions as necessary.
7. Refund Processing
  • Refund Timing: Refunds are typically processed within 5-10 business days after the cancellation has been confirmed.
  • Refund Method: Refunds will be issued using the original payment method unless otherwise arranged.
